As submitted by Ken Costa. Bob was a police officer in Emeryville. Thank you to Bob for his unselfish service to keep the peace in our cities. God bless his memory.
I am so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was always so fun and a good friend, not to mention, an excellent police officer. Thank you Bob for all your hard work in keeping us safe!
I was saddened to read of Bob's passing. He was my next door neighbor from grammer school thru High School. His family and mine spent a lot of time going back and forth to each other's houses visiting, laughing and celebrating holidays together. Bob and my brother Richard were good buddies and would often go down the San Leandro creek together and collect pollywags.(I never could figure out why they wanted them?)
Bob had a great sence of humor and always had all the kids on the block laughing with all his crazy antics and funny faces he'd come up with.
It was an honor to have known him and to have grown up living next door to him. He will be missed but never forgotten!
RIP Bob.
Your Friend, Debbie Rue
I was deeply touched at the passing of such a friend. It would have been good to see and talk to him again. I remember good humor and good talks, and knowing that Bob was someone whom you could talk to. Bob's friendship will never be forgotten. Sharon O'Neal Sevy
No doubt that you're making people laugh around you still. How well I remember going to Junior Prom with you and the Boogaloo Down Broadway theme. I was greatly saddened when I heard of your passing. Thank you for the great service you performed as a police officer, the achievement of a goal you had had for a long time.
