Comments:

After several careers, including teaching, I decided to bite the bullet and go to law school. Best thing I ever did! I've been in Las Vegas for going on 30 years. I participated in masters swimming until "swimmer's shoulder" ended that activity. Then I tackled Yoga until I started having lumbar fusions every 2 years (I have had a total of 5 and just had 5 level neck surgery in December!) Now that I am single again, I am going to travel as much as I can while I am still somewhat physically able to do so!

School Story:

I did IWE in the boys' gym, since I helped manage the guys' swim, dive and cross country teams. (Where was Title IX when we needed it?) On the first day of every semester when I would stroll into the boys' gym, many of the guys would helpfully point out that this was NOT the girls' gym. Thanks, guys, but I really did know where I was going and, no, I did not hand out towels!

My husband, Ken Hanlon, has been a music professor at UNLV for 40 years. He is a trombonist, both classical and jazz. He has 3 children and we have 4 grandchildren: 3 girls ages 16, 12, and 3 and a 6 year old boy.

Instead of having children, I had Goldens! All of my Goldens have either been rescued from the pound or are owner-surrendered. We recently lost Lucy on the right, but Max and Griz are doing great!

As you can see, Max rules the roost!

Ninth grade graduation with my beau, George Anderson. I was so sorry to hear we lost him. I wanted to tell him I'd come full circle with trombone players!
