After graduating S.L.H.S. IN 69, I went to Chabot a few years and studied Commercial Art.
Moved to South Lake Tahoe worked at Sahara Casino. Traveled to Europe studying the masters of Art. Came back to San Leandro and started my own Photo Retouch Bussiness which I did for a few years.
Then started up my own Rock and Roll Band moved back to Hayward and have continued with my music tho not as active. Work now as an Activity Director with elders in Nursing Homes. |

I think this story says alot about our class.
It was spirit day at school. Seniors were dressed in Red, Juniors in Blues and Sophmores in green. While all attended a Pep Ralley the speaker on stage was encouraging each class separetly to chant out as loud as the could to see which class ruled the school. First the Sophmores who were loud, then the Juniors who were much louder, then the Seniors who were barely a mumble? I remember my friends Debbie Condensa, Blance Ameral Diane Souza none of us yelled out as did most all people around us. It was a slient protest against the Viet Nam War many Seniors were being shipped to Viet Nam and our class was making their statement then and there. As it turned out the Juniors won the chant. The Seniors class of 69 could have cared less! |
