Oh my goodness.....so many of our classmates have passed.....very sad. I remember Sandy, she was so pretty and she had the perfect hair. She was a very nice gal.

Sandy I can't believe this. You were so cool with me in high school. Does anybody know what has happened?

I had the good fortune of meeting Sandy’s mother, Mary, where she now lives at Baywood Court in Castro Valley. My mother also lives there and in speaking with Mary, they realized their daughters had graduated from SLHS in 1969. My mom mentioned this to me and I made a connection with Mary.
What a pleasure it was to chat with Mary! Her home abounds with many happy memories – including pictures of Super Bowl parties and Hawaiian vacations – shared with Sandy and her family, husband Charlie and step-daughter Nicole, with whom Mary remains very close.
Sandy Seghetti Krochamaly was a beautician and lived in Hayward for many years. She passed away in August 2005 after a noble battle with colon cancer. Diagnosed a year prior to her passing, Sandy fought hard after originally being given about a month to live.
I appreciate connecting with Mrs. Seghetti so that we can include memories of Sandy with those of our classmates. If you would like to contact Sandy’s mom, send me a message and I will provide you with contact information.
