I lived in SL till 5 years ago. My son, Jeff was born there. He is now married and lives in Auburn with his wife, Leah, and their daughter, Zoe, who is 4 years old.
After being divorced when Jeff was one, and then being married and widowed a few years later, I met Steve and have never been happier in my life. We moved to Medford, OR with Steve's work, but it was really back home for him. LOVE it here ...beautiful, mild four seasons. Steve built our home, and of course, when you're a homeowner you're never done. It's way more house than we need, but it's so fun having family and friends come and stay.
I appreciate my music and dance experience in HS, and have directed and choreographed several church productions, large and small. Steve is a musician, vocal and instrumental, and we do a lot of singing, especially during the holidays. I'm in charge of the teenage girls at church. Were we ever this moody and goofy? I'm sure we were. I love them, though. They keep me young.
SL has certainly changed. My mom still lives there, and we go back several times a year. I hardly recognize it. It's not the sleepy little bedroom community we all grew up in.
