I lived on the same block as Carolyn in elementary school. One of my fondest memories of Carolyn was dancing in her room. She had a record player and a collection of 45s. We "Rocked Around The Clock" and had great fun. Carolyn was involved, engaged in scholastics and sports, and intelligent. I never heard her make a negative comment. Hats off to you, Carrie! She led a life well lived.

Hi Marlene. Just to set the record straight between us: my mother, Madge, was the brownie and Girl Scout leader. Mrs. Capps never volunteered for any of our troop activities that I can remember. I agree that Carolyn was a great friend at Thomas Jefferson! I will also write a tribute.
